A review-first workspace for social posts
Deep Social Studio helps a creator or authorized team prepare and review original media before using TikTok’s official Content Posting API. No platform password is requested, and no provider action occurs merely because content was imported or approved: a person in the workspace starts every delivery.
TikTok transfer features are not currently available because the latest platform review was not approved; a future resubmission is required before transfer can be enabled. The workspace, review screens, and status views described below are part of the service; the TikTok delivery buttons stay disabled until TikTok grants access.
Workspace and sign-in
You sign in with a Google account (name, email address, and Google account identifier only). The first sign-in creates a private workspace that you own. Workspaces are isolated: accounts, content, approvals, and receipts in one workspace are never visible to another. Google sign-in identifies you to Deep Social Studio; it is separate from connecting a social account.
Account connection
A workspace owner connects their own TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit. TikTok’s consent screen lists the permissions requested:
- user.info.basic — show which creator account is connected.
- video.upload — send an approved video to your TikTok inbox for further editing.
- video.publish — post an approved video with the settings you reviewed (Direct Post).
Access tokens are encrypted before storage. You can revoke access in TikTok’s settings at any time.
Two distinct TikTok workflows
Upload to TikTok for further editing
The user may transfer approved media to their TikTok inbox and finish editing and posting inside TikTok. This is not represented as a published post.
Direct Post
Where TikTok has granted the required access, Direct Post lets the user review caption, privacy, interaction settings, and disclosures in Deep Social Studio before explicitly consenting to a post. Before each post the workspace refreshes the creator’s information from TikTok, shows the connected creator name, and offers only the privacy levels TikTok returns. Availability remains subject to TikTok review status and account capabilities.
Preparing a post
- Choose the connected TikTok account and a video file (MP4, MOV, or WebM, up to 16 MB). The video is previewed in the browser and fingerprinted with SHA-256.
- Write the caption (up to 2,200 characters).
- Choose who can view the post. There is no preselected privacy level.
- Comments, Duet, and Stitch are off until you opt in.
- Declare whether the content promotes yourself, a brand, product, or service, or a third party, and optionally label it as AI-generated.
Review and approval controls
Approval is bound to the exact account, media fingerprint, caption, and selected settings. A changed payload requires a new review. Automated clients may request approval but cannot grant their own approval.
Status and receipts
The service records normalized status and immutable publishing receipts so an attempted transfer is not confused with a confirmed platform outcome. Uncertain non-idempotent provider writes are not silently retried.
Automation access
A workspace owner can create a narrowly scoped service-account key for their own content tools. That key can import drafts and media, request approval, manage delivery jobs, read status and receipts, and record analytics events. It cannot approve content or bypass the human approval step, and any delivery it handles must already carry a person’s exact approval. The key is shown once and is never displayed again.
Current service boundary
Feature availability depends on connected accounts, third-party permissions, provider review status, policies, and technical limits. Deep Social Studio does not provide a persistent media library or scheduler in the currently described TikTok workflow.
